The Complete Timeline, so far!

Below is the complete Timeline of, The Walten Files, so far, as of February 24th 2024. If anything is missing, then please tell me. This timeline has been designed to be the most accurate, for all fans of the Walten Files. Only dates that are confirmed to be canon, included in this Timeline.

Before 1970 Timeline

1889 – The year of birth, of the founder of Cyberfun Tech, Jason Pooltrick.

20th April 1932 – The birth date of Rosemary Walten.

23rd September 1932 – The birth date of Jack Walten.

1943 – On findjackwalten.com “Since 1943, CyberFun Tech has been a company dedicated to explore and push the limits of the modern world’s technology, and what better way to do so than entertaintment.”

1952 – William Godfey, soon to be the lead singer of, The Ponzi’s, is born this year.

March 19th 1952 – The day the founder of Cyberfun Tech, Jason Pooltrick, died from Heart failure. His son eventually took over the Company.

1956 – The year Jenny Letterson was born.

1958 – The story of Bon’s Burgers goes back to 1958, where 2 college students Had the same idea of Animated performers, The names were Jack Walten and Felix Kranken. it took them 16 Years to actually execute this concept, By that time Kranken and Walten had built their own Families, Felix Married a beautiful lady and Walten was not only a great Husband but also the Happy father of 3 beautiful children.

1960s – “If you or any friend of yours would like to work with us, feel free to apply to our “Technology of the Future” fair with a full prototype of your idea. One of our assistants will reach out to you a few days after your application in case you’re elected to participate on the fair, we’ve met a lot of bright minds accross the years using this method since the 1960s.” A quote from Cyberfun Tech.

1960 – The year Sophie Walten was born.

1962 – (TWF4 – 01:50) There is a black and white poster on screen that states, “Thank you for being a part of the Bunny Smiles Company 1962.”

15th May 1962 – The day Edward Walten was born.

30th October 1964 – Note was written by Linda Kranken/Thompson, “Felix has been acting weird lately. He’s been drinking more than usual. I am worried about him. I don’t know what to do. He came home at 4 AM, he was crying, he seemed very unstable and stressed. I don’t know what to do.

22nd August 1965 – The day Molly Walten was born.

23rd August 1965 – Note was written by Linda Kranken/Thompson, “I know I haven’t talked here as much as I used to. This month has been so so so so crazy. I moved in with Felix last week, he was very happy about it. Yesterday, Jack and Rose had their third child. A little girl! Her name is Molly, Molly Walten. Jack and Felix have been pitching up the ‘restaurant idea’ with a company that’s interested in the project. The name’s Cyberfun Tech.

1967 – The Rock band, The Ponzi’s, are formed, including William Godfey, Deb Mathis & Alice McGrant. They are later hired by an unknown businessman to record music for a local restaurant.

15th April 1967 – Felix Kranken records a recorded message called, ‘Company Greeting’ welcoming new staff to Bunny Smiles Incorporated. Part of the secret video, Guilty.

1970 – 1973 Timeline

10th October 1970 – (TWF4 – 02:55) A note from Charles Brook, “Hi! Just got hired officially as the computer supervisor for ‘unnamed Bunny Smiles Restaurant’ (though I’ve been coming up with a few names myself). I’ve known these guys for a while, their family! I’ve done some work for them along with Susan for years now, even before Cyberfun Tech! Getting to meet the Waltens and the Krankens has been Super Fun! So Excited to get to work! The Future is bright. C.B. [P. 27:12]”

26th December 1970 – Note was written by Linda Kranken/Thompson, “Christmas was nice, they built a gray rabbit, for Edd and Molly, Molly named it Rocket. Felix drank a lot yesterday. This has been a problem for a while. He is a good person but he doesn’t wanna address this. It’s getting worse and worse but he doesn’t notice, he feels bad about it, but doesn’t try to change

1972 – In the YouTube video, ‘Season 1 Official Trailer’, An animatronic, is labelled with the code, CBF’72, on its skull. Likely refencing, Cyberfun Tech 1972. This is the only time, the initial CBF, has been seen.

10th December 1972 – Felix Kranken records a recorded message called, ‘December Greeting’ referencing the Cyberfun Tech Deal, and the Bon’s Burger Project. Part of the secret video, Guilty.

3rd January 1973 – Note was written by Linda Kranken/Thompson, “It’s getting worse, he is so submerged with their project that he doesn’t realize how much damage he is doing to himself, how much damage he’s doing to me. He keeps going places only to drink, sometimes he even stays at the warehouse for the sole purpose of drinking, he doesn’t listen, he never listens, I don’t know what to do.

1974 Timeline: Before Bon’s Burgers Opens

1974 – The second tape of the 2nd Walten Files video, Relocate Project, labelled “Reprogramming Phase Facial Expressions,” states that the model used is Banny, created in 1974. The results of the reprogramming phase should be the same in all the other models.

1974 – The TV screen message of, “Technical Difficulties are Temporary. Keep an eye!” is dated from the year, 1974. This is a part of the, Keep An Eye teaser video.

1974 – (TWF4 – 09:53) A title card appears, saying, “What is the Cyberfun Console? Cyberfun Tech 1974”

21st January 1974 – (TWF4 – 09:56) “Walkaround Test” with Banny observed by Susan and Charles.

7th March 1974 – (TWF4 – 11:40) “Facial Tracking” with Sha, observed by Susan and Charles. They also discuss the issues of Felix;’s addiction that even Chris knows about it.

30th April 1974 – (TWF4 – 07:12) Rosemary Walten talks about creating the concept art she created for the characters of Bon’s Burgers.

2nd May 1974 – Note was written by Linda Kranken/Thompson, “Dear Felix: By the time you’re reading this, I shouldn’t be home. I know you’re confused, I’m confused too. What you said to me last week hurt me a lot, but it opened my eyes, hopefully this opens your eyes too. Our relationship isn’t healthy, I don’t think it ever was. I’m leaving Brighton this morning. You’re at the warehouse, with Jack and the others as I’m writing this. By the time you’re reading this, I’ll already be in Hurricane.

2nd May 1974 – Note was written by Linda Kranken/Thompson, “I know you are busy doing Jack a favor, (something related to a school party, I can’t remember) but please go there when you have the time. As to me, I’ll try to build my own life, while I still can, you should do that too. I love you, Goodbye – Linda.” Additional text wrote in red ink, “I am sorry Linda, I am so sorry. I am sorry.”

2nd May 1974 + 15:23 – Jack Walten rings Felix Kranken, asking for a favour, to take Edd and Molly to a school party, that very evening, before bringing them home, for 9 o’clock.

2nd May 1974 + 17:20 – Edd and Molly look for Rocket, before ‘Uncle Felix’ arrives to take Edd, Molly and Rocket, to the school party.

2nd May 1974 + 17:56 – Felix appears to be driving Edd and Molly to the school party.

2nd May 1974 + 21:37 – Edd and Molly are still at the school, before finding Felix, in the Drinking Zone.

2nd May 1974 + 21:56 – Felix appears to be driving Edd and Molly home after the school party, but he is intoxicated. Moments later, the car crashes into Saint Juana’s forest. Edd and Molly are killed in the crash. Felix buries their bodies in the forest. They did not go home that night. But they found a way out eventually.

2nd May 1974 + After 22:30 – Felix Kranken records a recorded message, but the name is censored. It may be ‘Guilty’ referencing the car accident from earlier in the night, and the death of Edd and Molly. Part of the secret video, Guilty.

3rd May 1974 12:23 am – (TWF4 – 20:28) Jack Walten drives to Felix’s house, looking for him, and his children Edd and Molly. He is distressed, but Felix is not home.

3rd May 1974 – Jack Walten continues to ring Felix, into the early hours of the morning, wondering what happened to his children.

3rd May 1974 8:56 am – (TWF4 – 22:36) Felix has dug three graves, but decides to leave the third empty. He throws items of Edd and Molly into the river, but fails to throw himself, or Rocket into the Clearhill river.

4th May 1974 02:33 am – (Lac – 00:20) Police are seen at Clearhill river, investigating the disappearance of the Walten children.

5th May 1974 – (TWF4 – 25:15) Felix records a message to himself, talking about telling Jack and Rosemary Walten about the car crash, but not all the details of what happened. He also talks about Rocket, before being scared by the voices of Edd & Molly, seeming to possess Rocket.

13th May 1974 – (TWF4 – 14:12) “THE GLITCH” Boozoo face scans Rocket Rabbit, it doesn’t recognize any faces, but the ghostly forms of Edd and Molly appear.

11th June 1974 – The date of when, Jack Walten, was last seen, according to his missing poster.

11th June 1974 – The date on a cassette tape, found by Ashley behind the Backdoors. The cassette tape, also said, Discard. The Cassette is placed inside the Billy the Clown Animatronic, singing a Happy Birthday song. And says the names, “Jack, Susan, Charles, Rosemary, Sophie.” Now Ashley, is beautiful.

11th June 1974 – Weird dark section in, The Walten Files, secret video, Lucky You. The dark screen lasts for almost 20 seconds of the video, with no audio. It is then followed by a voice, speaking over the images, of the animatronic heads.

20th June 1974 – “A game breaker, is what it is. We’re taking a new step in technology and entertaintment. Machines able to resemble the actions of a real life performer, and I’m not talking about singing or dancing, but rather interacting with it’s audience and surroundings like a real person would. We may even be able to have our machines directly adress our clients by name via a recognition system we’ve been developing over the years.” -Norman Pooltrick: Local 57, June 20th, 1974

1974 Timeline: Bon’s Burgers Opens

Before 28th June 1974 – Bunny Smiles Incorporated Technical Support Introductory Tape, is dated by the narrator, “With the Bon’s Burgers restaurant getting opened in a few weeks.” This is the first part of, the very first, Walten Files.

28th June 1974 – Bon’s Burgers restaurant officially opens for Business.

28th June 1974 – In the 2nd Walten Files video, Relocate project, 00:53 into the YouTube video, the file of, Bon’s Burgers, is credited to Jack Walten, on this date. Reminder: The date of when, Jack Walten, was last seen, according to his missing poster, is 11th June 1974.

30th June 1974 – Rosemary visited Bon’s Burgers on this day, as she did on many other days, looking for her husband, Jack Walten. Felix seems very concerned and worried too.

30th June 1974 – Bon’s Burgers restaurant hosts its first Birthday Party. Jeremy’s Birthday Party

30th June 1974 – Last seen date on the missing poster, of Susan Woodings. A Bon’s Burgers employee, who was the engineer and basically built the animatronics. She noticed something was wrong, especially with Bon. She is linked to the Banny Animatronic.

30th June 1974 – (TWF4 – 17:00) “The First” as Bon becomes possessed and attacks Susan Woodings, giving her the gift of becoming Banny. Now she is beautiful.

1st July 1974 1:36 am – (TWF4 – 28:08) Bon is putting Susan inside of Banny, before a conversation takes place in Wonderland, between Susan & “Bon”. Edd & Molly (Rocket) can only watch as these events take place.

7th or 8th July 1974 – (TWF4 – 08:33) A letter from Norman to Felix, about Susan Woodings going missing. To read the full letter, click here.

10th July – 19th July 1974 – Bon’s Burgers restaurant hosts the final shows before closure.

14th July – Somebody goes missing on the 14th July. Likely named Charles, and linked to the Boozoo animatronic. Charles is now beautiful.

19th July 1974 – Rosemary Walten, last seen on this date, according to her missing poster. Ever since her husband went missing, Rosemary went to the restaurant every night, she was distressed and hoped that maybe she would see her husband return. On one of these visits, a voice said they knew where he was and told her to follow them. When she went backstage she didn’t find Jack, she instead found Bon, who had lured her into the employees only room. He told her she was broken and that he would “fix her and make her beautiful”. Bon killed Rosemary by dismemberment and stuffed her remains inside of Sha. It is heavily implied she haunts the animatronic to this day. Now she is beautiful.

20th July 1974 – Final Day of Bon’s Burgers restaurant being open. Thank You For The Smiles!!!

20th July 1974 – An audio message with the code 072074, when reversed says, “Apparently, screams for help were heard inside our installations. Thanks to the help of the Brighton police department, this has been confirmed as a hoax and that nobody has been harmed inside our restaurant. Nevertheless, for budget reasons, we are shutting our doors for further notice. Thanks for joining us on this small adventure. Kindly, the Bunny Smiles Family”

31st October 1974 – The Bon Animatronic can be seen in the dilapidated Bon’s Burgers establishment, staring out of the window, with the right arm raised, hand potentially on the window. The building is declared condemned.

10th December 1974 – The Bunny Smiles Incorporated, Storage Facility K9, a property of Cyberfun Tech, in 1975. Storage facility pictured on this date.

1975 – 1979 Timeline

Unclear Date in 1975 – In the 2nd Walten Files video, Relocate project, 00:53 into the YouTube video, both the files of, Relocate, and, Storage K9, is dated to 1975, and both are credited to Felix Kranken.

1975 – A lorry in an animated video, reads the following words, “bunny Smiles, Shipping Service 1975, A company by Cyberfun Tech”

23rd January 1975 – Animatronics of Bon, Banny, Boozoo and Sha, pictured with tags, marking them as assets of the Storage Facility, K9.

April 5th 1977 – Log #785, by detective Derek Collins, created in 1977 with his partner Rodgers. The full transcript of their conversation, is available by clicking here.

2nd July 1978 – The first tape, of the 2nd Walten Files video, Relocate Project.

9th July 1978 – The third tape, of the 2nd Walten Files video, labelled “Bunny Smiles Incorporated Technical Support 1978.”

12th July 1978 – The fourth tape of the 2nd Walten Files video, Relocate Project. The first day of three Bunny Smiles Incorporated employees, volunteering to stay 3 days in the B.S.I. (Bunny Smiles Incorporated) storage facility (Storage Facility K9), for the purpose of Reprogramming the animatronics in order to execute the Relocate Project. The three employees were Hilary, Ashley and Kevin.

13th July 1978 – Ashley investigates behind the backdoors. She saw something she was not meant to see and now she is beautiful. She was screaming as much as she could, but no one heard her screams, inside Billy the Clown. Ashley is now beautiful.

14th July 1978 – Hilary and Kevin leave the storage facility, believing Ashley had already left.

After 14th July 1978 – The following days, from Hilary and Kevin, leaving the storage facility, the caretakers would complain about an awful smell coming from the backdoors. Company decided to shut down the facility until new advice, the relocate project was unsuccessful.

13th August 1978 – The second tape of the 2nd Walten Files video, Relocate Project, labelled “Reprogramming Phase Facial Expressions.”

1979 – Sunlight Animation presents Little Bon’s Neighborhood. An animated production, starring the cast of Bon’s Burgers, in animated form. The episode titled, “Bon’s Super Sleepover” is written by Sarah Evelyn. The location referenced as Brighton.

March 29th 1979 – Felix does an interview for a radio show, on MLBQ radio station, about the disappearance of Jack Walten. “I still wonder about what happened to my best friend, to this day I get people asking how I’ve handled the situation, how I’ve managed to keep on with this company knowing that he’s been gone for years. It’s hard to look back at Jack, because… I know that those happy memories and experiences I had with Walten and his Family will never happen again. And he’ll never get to see what our dream company turned out to be. But there’s still hope, I guess”

1980s & 1990s Timeline

10th October 1981 – According to an article in the Brighton Library, the lead singer of, The Ponzi’s, William Godfey, had been attacked by thieves while leaving one of their Bon’s Burgers recordings, leaving him with “indefinite amnesia” as doctors had described. By the time of the article, it had been confirmed that The Ponzi’s would no longer record nor play live.

1982 – The Relocate Project Tape from the 2nd July 1978, declares the new Bon’s Burgers restaurant, will open in 1982. The relocate project failing, stops this event from happening.

1982 – A quote from Cyberfun Tech: “The 1982 Technology of the Future fair has been cancelled due to C.T. schedules and focus on greater projects. If you’d like to apply for the 1983 fair, feel free to give us a call.”

1st January 1982 – There is a poster of Bon and Sha, celebrating the New Year of 1982, on behalf of Cyberfun Tech. Included in this message, is a note, signed from, F.K., N.P., C.E. announcing all Cyberfun Tech services and workshops are to close, so the company can focus on a new project. The note is titled, Under Construction.

10th October 1982 + 00:44 – Date and time seen on the video, of Brian Stells, new Facility Caretaker, driving to the Storage Facility, K9, through a forest area.

15th October 1982 – The first day that Sophie Walten plays a beta version, of the arcade video game, Bunnyfarm. Produced by Bunny Smiles Games (1975 – 1982), Cyberfun Tech.

16th October 1982 – The second day that Sophie Walten plays a beta version, of the arcade video game, Bunnyfarm.

11th November 1982 – Bon’s Burger Plush Ad, to air on Brighton Broadcast Television Local 57, is dated with this date. Credited to Cyberfun Media 82.

1983 – An album called, The Showstoppers II, is dated with the year 1983, although it was meant to be released in 1982.

1983 – “A B.S.I. Ex-employee mentioned that these tapes were really Private and only a few people had a copy of them, once the company vanished during the Early 80s (1983) all tapes regarding the Project were Banned and Destroyed.”

21st Century Timeline

28th June 2001 – Martin Walls, is born.

2007 – There is a picture of Anthony Miller, dressed as a ghost, for Halloween 2007.

2011 – Anthony Miller moves to Michigan with his mom, from Arizona.

2010s – On https://www.findjackwalten.com/brightonghosts there are two newspaper articles, speaking about Anthony Miller and his ghost hunting, causing trouble and chaos for the local residents of Brighton. The first is dated June 20th, and the second is August 9th 2018 (the final number is not fully readable, but it appears to be an 8.)

26th April 2020 – The 1st Walten Files video is released to the public on YouTube.

27th June 2020 – The secret video, ‘Lucky You’, is unlisted on YouTube.

29th June 2020 – The 2nd Walten Files Video is released to the public on YouTube.

17th October 2020 – The secret video, ‘Guilty’, is unlisted on YouTube.

20th March 2021 – The 3rd Walten Files Video is released to the public on YouTube.

1st February 2024 – The secret video, ‘Lacrimosa’ is unlisted on YouTube.

9th February 2024 – The 4th Walten Files Video is released to the public on YouTube.
